Excellent plot idea that has you wondering at the start of each chapter, which historical era will feature this time and whether the hero can achieve the destiny that is at the same time so simple yet so subject to the turns of fate! I enjoyed this book very much

This was a good and intriguing story. The hero Matthew tells the story of his many and varied lives on earth to Marion, an incredulous girl who he knows, having met and loved her many times before over the centuries, is destined to be his life partner. Of course she finds it all hard to believe, as she has no memory of their previous meetings, but over the course of a long train journey he tells his tales, wins her trust, and makes a huge impression on her heart! To get their entwined destinies back on course, Matthew has been set an almost impossible challenge - to live a whole life without breaking one of the 10 Commandments. He has failed so many times. Can he finally do it and win his fair lady? And what will he do about the fact that she is already happily married? If you like a romance with a different twist to it, you will be hoping for a happy ending, and will hurry through the book, as I did, to find out if it's there!
